With a readership that spans from coast-to-coast and readers that have a number of occupations, we thought this would be a good time to bring to light of few of the lesser known applications when it comes to our ATV implement line.
After all, some organizations are developing budgets for the fiscal year 2008 and we'd like to make people aware of the fact that these units are being used for far more than food plots.
Landscaping-A number of our customers have used the ATV implement line for preparing their yard for growing grass and large shrub beds.
Ball Field Maintenance-This has been a huge success with communities and schools that have limited budgets. Cheaper than "firing up" the tractor, most of these groups have access to an ATV of some sort and they can afford a few hundred dollars a year to acquire durable goods that allow them to maintain their fields at a high level.
Golf Course Maintenance-While this may come as a surprise, the culitpacker and spreader have found some success in this category while allowing supervisors to actually use golf carts for some of their maintenance; thus, saving some of their fuel expense.
Horse Arena Maintenance-While this hasn't been the most common of the applications, we have some users that actually use the disc and the rotary harrow to maintain the dirt surface inside of their arenas.
Backyard Farming/Gardening-This may be the category that is growing the fastest. People across the country and "Baby Boomers" in particular, are buying smaller 50 acre farms as they plan on retirement. Now, as they do this, the need for tractor equipment simply doesn't make a lot of sense economically. So they are buying ATV implements to develop their gardens and yard while also having the ability to start other projects on their "farms" without having to invest a ton of money.
If you have any questions or comments about these uses, please feel free to email us at custsvc@abby-usa.com and we may publish your suggested use both on our website and our eWire.
